# File Upload to Carbonze

File Upload (Secure File Upload) - Help Page

The Secure File Upload feature in Carbonze provides a safe and encrypted way to share sensitive files with our team. This tool is essential for securely transmitting documents such as data entries, business spreadsheets, or any other confidential files directly to our secure storage. Here’s how you can use the Secure File Upload feature effectively:

**How to Upload a File**

1. **Choose File**:
   * Click on the "Choose File" button. This will open your computer's file explorer, where you can navigate to the file you want to upload.
   * Select the desired file from your computer. Once selected, the file name will appear next to the "Choose File" button, confirming your selection.
2. **Check File Size**:
   * Ensure that the file you wish to upload is within the size limit of 5 MB. Files larger than this limit will need to be reduced in size before uploading.
3. **Upload the File**:
   * After selecting your file, click the "Upload File" button to begin the upload process.
   * Once the upload is complete, our team will be notified immediately, and your file will be stored securely on our servers.
4. **Discarding an Upload**:
   * If you decide not to upload the selected file, you can click the "Discard" button to cancel the upload process. This will clear the file selection, allowing you to choose a different file if needed.
