Scope 3.12

End of life of sold products includes emissions from the waste disposal and treatment of products sold by the reporting company (in the reporting year) at the end of their life, after customer usage.

This category includes the total expected end-of-life emissions from all products sold in the reporting year.

When collecting data on the proportion of waste treated by different methods, companies may refer to:

• waste type

• treatment method (select landfill, if unknown)

• Amount of the future waste

  • You might need to know or forward to our customer success managers, the sales data such as,

    • Number of products

    • Mass of each product

    • mass of purchasing data
